Switches and LAN networks
At Avannubo, we design and manage switching infrastructure to ensure secure, efficient and reliable LAN networks. We tailor each solution to your business needs
Switching infrastructure design and management
A LAN architecture
We create and deploy switching infrastructure tailored to each organisation’s needs, using VLAN segmentation to keep your network traffic organised and protected.
Performance and availability always under control
We integrate high availability and redundancy with continuous infrastructure monitoring to maintain optimal performance and detect potential issues before they affect your network.
Routing and site interconnection
We connect corporate networks across your business’s locations to enable smooth communication and ensure infrastructure that is ready for any requirement.
Connect all your locations simply and without disruption
Connectivity tailored to each organisation
We implement static and dynamic routing solutions to connect offices and corporate environments, adapting to your business’s traffic volumes and requirements.

Business WiFi
We design business WiFi networks with coverage tailored to your premises and secure access for employees, guests and devices. A stable connection for your business’s day-to-day activities.
A connection that meets your business’s needs
Coverage designed around your space
We analyse your premises and conduct radio-frequency surveys to plan access point locations, reduce dead zones and minimise interference. We tailor the network to the space, the number of users and the devices that need to connect.
Separate access, centralised management
We configure separate networks for employees, guests and devices, with access permissions suited to each use to protect your company resources. We manage, optimise and monitor the infrastructure to maintain performance and detect potential issues.

FAQs
We answer common questions about business networks, WiFi, site connectivity and network monitoring.
Why is my office WiFi slow?
WiFi may be slow because of interference, poor coverage, congestion, incorrect configuration or internet connection limitations. Devices and the cabling connecting access points also play a role. A coverage and capacity analysis can identify the cause. Avannubo designs business WiFi networks around the space, users and applications.
What is a WiFi coverage survey?
A WiFi coverage survey analyses how the signal spreads and how much capacity each area needs. It may combine planning and measurements to assess interference, obstacles, channels and access point locations. The aim is to design a suitable network and verify its operation after installation. Coverage alone does not guarantee sufficient capacity.
Should guest WiFi be separate from employee WiFi?
Yes. Separating the guest network helps limit access to internal resources and control connection usage. Separation must be supported by appropriate firewall rules and permissions; simply creating another WiFi name is not enough. Consider separate networks for cameras, connected devices and other equipment with specific needs as well.
What is a VLAN and how does it help a business?
A VLAN divides a physical network into logical segments, for example for employees, guests or cameras. It improves organisation and allows different policies for each group. To limit the spread of incidents, traffic between segments must also be controlled through rules and other security mechanisms. Avannubo configures segmentation according to each network’s needs.
What is the difference between a managed and an unmanaged switch?
An unmanaged switch connects devices using a basic configuration. A managed switch lets you administer features such as VLANs, port monitoring and traffic prioritisation, depending on the model. It is useful when a business needs to control, segment or troubleshoot its network. The choice should also consider speed, PoE power, capacity and expansion options.
How can multiple business locations be connected?
Locations can be connected using site-to-site VPNs, carrier services or SD-WAN solutions, depending on requirements. The design should consider security, capacity, availability and application access. Not every office needs to share a single unrestricted network. Avannubo plans interconnection and permissions between locations to make work easier and protect resources.
What is the difference between static and dynamic routing?
With static routing, routes are configured manually. With dynamic routing, devices exchange information through protocols and adjust routes according to the topology and defined policies. The right choice depends on network size, redundancy and operational complexity. Dynamic routing alone is not a substitute for continuity planning.
What should I do if the office internet connection goes down?
Check whether the problem affects all devices or just one connection and report it to the IT lead. Check the service and equipment status without resetting devices to factory settings. Before restarting shared equipment, confirm the procedure with support. A correctly configured backup connection can reduce the impact of future outages.
When should a business upgrade its IT network?
An upgrade is advisable when equipment is no longer supported, capacity is insufficient, failures recur or the infrastructure no longer fits the business’s operations. The review should cover cabling, networking hardware, WiFi and security. Avannubo plans expansions and replacements to reduce disruption and avoid investments that do not address the actual problem.
What is network monitoring and what is it used for?
Network monitoring tracks devices and links to detect outages, congestion and changes in behaviour. Its history helps investigate intermittent disconnections and plan expansions. To be useful, it needs relevant alerts, assigned responsibilities and response procedures. Avannubo tailors monitoring to the devices and communications included in each project.
